European Union stop
officials on one day proposed a 30 day ban on anyone entering in the bloc
unless their travel is essential, to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus,
While insisting on the need to keep the internal borders between the 27 member
States open as much as possible.
Speaking after an
extraordinary video conference meeting of the leaders of the G7 countries,
European Commission president said travel restrictions should be in place for
an initial period that can be prolonged if necessary. the less travel,
the more we can contain the virus she said long-term residents in the European
Union, Frontier workers, family members of European Union National and
diplomats would be exempted from the restrictions.
After the surge of
COVID-19 in Europe LED the Italian government to put the country on lockdown,
other member states have implemented drastic measures and travel restrictions,
including partially closing their borders. European Union leaders are set to
hold a Summit via video conference on Tuesday to contain the spirit of the
coronavirus, which health now infected more than 50000 across Europe and

guidelines for border management measures, the commission earned member states
to facilitate the circulation of workers, to ensure an efficient movement of
goods and to impose restrictions only when they are motivated and Science
based. member states should preserve the free circulation of all goods. in
particular, they should guarantee the supply chain of essential products such
as medicines, medical equipment, essential and perishable food products and
livestock.
For most people, the
foreigner virus causes only mild symptoms such as fever and cough. for some,
especially older adults and people with existing health problems, it can cause
serious illness including pneumonia .
Essential goods and
medicines must be able to cross borders as smooth as possible. This is a time
for solidarity and cooperation.
Warren
Buffett daughter exposed to virus
The daughters of
billionaire investor Warren Buffett have been exposed to the new virus and have
isolated themselves. Buffett said on Sunday that she feels fine and does
not think she is contacted COVID-19. She also said she had not been around her
father since her exposure last week. the 89 years old but Shayad Hathway
chairman recently told shareholders that they won't be allowed to attend the
form May 2 meeting amid the outbreak.
In
India 1075 is toll free helpline number for coronavirus COVID-19
As India sees a surge in
novel coronavirus cases, Union Health ministry all Monday activated a toll free
24/7 National helpline number, ‘1075’ to address queries
related to the infection.
The previous helpline
number 011 239 78046 will also remain operational, ministry officials said.
Beside the toll free
number, the ministry also issued a helpline email ID ncov2019@gmail.com
The number of
coronavirus cases in India health risen to 114 with one new case each reported
in Ladakh, Odisha, Jammu and Kashmir and Kerala. This number includes 1315 who
have been discharged after they recovered and two fatalities. The 114 figure
also includes 17 foreigner nationals.
The government has also
suspended movement of all types of passengers through International border
point with Pakistan 00:00 hours of March 16 view of threat from coronavirus.
In wake of COVID-19
